An easy to apply treatment for ponds troubled by blanket weed.
I had to persevere with back-up treatments for my pond but I am hampered by not knowing the gallons of water my pond holds! Not too keen on the milky effect that it produces but it clears soon enough. I wa cocrned about the young newts my pond breeds! All gone!
Had doubts about this. Middle of winter. Unused food still littering the bottom of the pond. (The missis has a generous hand, even in winter) Blanket weed ready to take over and... Mixed up half this stuff and spread over pond, looked like I'd dumped a couple of litters of milk into it. Still. Kept fingers crossed and five weeks down the line... No sign of blanket weed. Hurrah! Lets see what the warm weather brings. Have instructed the missus in correct quantity of food so hopefully should be clean during the summer. However. I have the other half in reserve. I have been using this in my small wildlife pond. After only 2 weeks I have noticed a huge difference in the clarity of the water. It has done what it says on the tub.
