Have not used it yet but it looks good and seems like it will do its job. Tala is a respected name and the price was cheap compared to other syringes. Looking forward to making my first ever donuts.

I got this to feed my Christmas cake with brandy. The syringe ports are quite high on the needle so it didn’t work very well for that but it’s real use is for basting meat and it’s excellent for that. For cakes it needs a smaller thinner needle. To be fair it’s sold as a tool for basting meat

Loved the idea of infusing everything with original flavours . Started to use it only recently as kitchen repairs had been in progress , first try with chicken and oil steeped in chilli went ok , but next time I went to use it the syringe black rubber part looked like it had started to perish , plunger wouldn’t move easily . Left the needle in a cupboard for a while trying to source a new syringe , next time I went to use it I saw what appeared to be signs of rust ! Not good around food ! Disappointed

Yeah and not just doughnuts, muffins too. Was let down a bit when I found I couldn't give my pet rhino his antibiotic shots with this. But it's still works on cake. So "no problems".

There are no instructions with this injector, to start with i was trying to fill the syringe by dipping the tip into the required filling and trying to draw it up into the syringe, a bit like taking a blood sample, but this did not work at all. I finally realised the plunger comes out of the tube, so i could then put the filling directly into the tube. Now that i am using it correctly it is brilliant.
