• Release the elastic and pull back through pole sections to the broken section taking care to keep the pole sections in the correct order. How do I Assemble the New Pole?. • Hook the elastic holding pole sections at the end nearest the broken section and pull out so knot can be undone (or if necessary cut off).

Universal not dedicated
It’s a universal repair kit and not dedicated to the Vango Icarus 500DLX. Two of the poles are too thick to use and the elastic is too short to thread through the entire pole. I had to purchase additional elastic
