Good enough gauge, good enough stand let down by poor quality control.
It does what I needed it to do and is fair for the price. However, overall the build quality was let down by something minor wrong with the stand that I will have to live with for ever. I made the mistake of sliding the vertical adjuster off the top of the vertical rod without noticing that the top cap was fractionally larger than the actual diameter of the rod (a manufacturing issue) with the result that it scored the inside of the slider badly. This then means that the slider can no longer slide up and down cleanly AND it badly scratches the vertical rod each time I move it. Will have to sort out the burr... The gauge itself is adequate for my needs, so overall it is good value but you do get what you pay for.

Basically strongly built with good magnetism but the extension with the small adjustment let it down badly since this part was very loose. I had to spend a bit extra to correct the problem.

Great for the price. Metal base is heavy enough to hold without magnet.
The stand I received is branded Toolzone and is solidly constructed and stable with enough inherent weight to hold firm on a flat surface even with the magnet being used. The initial stand I received had a wobble, probably by a millimetre, front to back left to right across the axis of the base but was replaced no problem. I’m impressed with the overall quality for the price and I’m looking forward to using it with my gauge.

Engineers Indicator
As an entry level instrument it is fine and good value for the money. For use in a machine shop I believe a more professional instrument is necessary. For what I want it works well, jumps about a bit if you rotate what you are measuring but it does the job and is not braking the bank when you buy it. The stand is good and works well.I only want it for truing bike wheels and brake disks and for that it does the job.

Good value for money
Can’t fault it for the money. Magnet is strong enough to stick to a vertical surface and take reliable measurements (side of an engine block to measure crank shaft end float). The fine adjustment is a little tricky but to be honest not sure of the point of it anyway if you can re-zero your dial gauge. Glad I went for cheap and cheerful for the few times it will be used each year.

good size magnetic base with arm adjustment to fine tune centreing of clock gauge zero when in use the clock can be rather erratic but cetals down and is accurate to my more expensive clock used it on my mill to check runout of chucks and lathe setting up 4 jaw chuck overall worth the money a good magnetic clock gauge for the money definitely recommend

Very Useful Base, Well Built and Very Good Value For Money.
I needed a dial gauge holder for a one-off job so did not want anything too expensive, and if necessary, I could adapt or modify the holder to suite. When it arrived I could not believe what excellent value for money and how well it was built, and for less than £11! The magnetic base is so heavy that it will stand on a wooden top and allow readings to be taken. On a metal base it holds very well too. Great product!

Good for the price
For the price this is ideal for some DIY home use, the stand isn't the highest quality but it's fine for some occasional use and the gauge is quite accurate. If you need something to use on a daily basis I would look elsewhere.
