Easy to configure using the blue tooth system
I purchased the Victron Energy Smart MPPT 100/50 for $75 knowing how these units perform. Their MPPT sweep is very fast compared to some lower quality MPPT units out there. One of the biggest reasons why I use VE now is the ability to network multiple controllers to one battery as I set up east, south, and west arrays for winter harvest. Be aware that blue tooth is a MUST for VE smart networking to sync charging and on the fly tweaks such as alarms, voltage changes, etc. Also, be aware that these units are NOT field repairable so be very careful with wiring and capacity limits! One big benefit is that none of the MPPT controllers have a fan to make noise.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Just installed the controller this morning. Very easy to install. It started up by itself. Within 4hrs both 12volt batteries were fully charged and unit was in float mode. Great controller w/ a price to match
Yes, you can get a charge controller for less money. You don’t get the Bluetooth connection and real-time battery update. My RV has a battery monitor. It is no where near as accurate as this one. Take my word, just buy a Victron and call it a day.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
