Not a very good button foot.
This button foot looks the part, but does not work well on my Janome 5060 QDC unless I remove the blue rubbery bit. If I do not remove it, the needle pierces and goes through the rubber in use. I have to attach the foot manually from underneath too as it won't just "snap on" as it should. See attached photos for the foot "in use". I do not recommend this foot.

Great item, makes quilting easier
I ordered it as the fabric layers on quilted place mates I am sewing kept feeding unevenly through the machine, this foot solved that problem. It’s easy to use and instructions are straight forward. A great item, I can’t wait to try it on the quilt I put to one side because I couldn’t get the fabric to feed evenly.

A sturdy, well made, nicely finished walking foot, slightly wider than that which it replaces and which fits neatly, and easily, sews smoothly and quietly (no clattering) on my Singer and Brother machines. Great little button sew on foot
This is great, with a silicon, rubbery grip to keep hold of your button whilst under the foot. What isn’t mentioned is that it has a tiny slot for you to place a needle pin so that you can sew over the pin when you are sewing your button on which makes the threads a little longer, thereby enabling buttons to be pushed through thicker fabric button holes. Ideal for tricky slippy fabrics like jersey or knit this foot helps guide fabric without it getting stuck in machine. Austin products are great value and well made.
