Great budget speaker
Brilliant little sound bar. Fantastic value at £39.99 with free delivery. Makes a whole world of difference compared to the tv speakers. I didn’t want a full length speaker so this fits the bill perfectly. Used with an optical cable so there are no lip sync issues for us. On Bluetooth, there is a bit of a lip sync delay, so I would recommend that you use an optical cable. You can adjust treble & bass settings to your preferences & there is a preset movie & music setting. This also comes with fittings to attach to the wall if required. The sound quality is great. I am sure that this wouldn’t compare to the likes of a Bose soundbar, but at a fraction of the price you can’t go wrong. 👍👍

Great Value Sound Bar for Small Room.
This JVC is worth the money for the Bluetooth feature alone, nice rich bass and super dialogue clarity. When connected to your tv the sound quality is substantially improved it also comes with a lovely remote. If you are planning to use this in your Bedroom or Kitchen this is ideal. 10/10

Good quality compact sound bar.
This is a compact unit so don't expect the cinema experience, but will improve the sound for most TVs. There are two fixed settings Movie and Music, but there is also a Custom mode where you can adjust bass and treble yourself. This can be a little fiddly as the volume controls are temporarily reassigned. This is indicated by little led lamps which briefly flash and it can take a bit of getting used to. This aside it is very easy to setup and operate. At the current sale price it is a bit of a bargain.

JVC TH-D227B soundbar
Very good value for the price (£30) and very easy to set up. It is wired through the headphones socket on the TV which means that the TV internal speaker is muted and all the sound comes through the soundbar. It also means that the TV remote also controls the volume of the JVC soundbar. The sound quality is not perfect but quite acceptable and a vast improvement on the sound coming from the TV speaker. This TV has a 19" screen and is in the kitchen.

Excellent little soundbar which will add punch to many large screen TVs
Pros- Excellent piece of kit, apart from a bit of a poor connecting power lead on mine. Has a quality feel and heft to it and feels well made all round. Even the remote has got that soft touch, black finish to it. Sound is excellent for such a small item . It adds plenty of punch to our 32 inch Phillips TV, so I would expect it would do the same for at least 40 inch TVs or more. Don't expect it to match a full -sized sound bar and bass unit combination though. You couldn't get gat from something this compact. Connects all to Bluetooth devices, so is great for linking a phone or tablet to, to watch YouTube vids etc. And for £39.95. Unbeatable value. Cons- Provided leads aren't great so probably worth getting an optical connection cable.

Natty piece of equipment
This has greatly helped the sound of my TV. The only thing I would like it to do is stay on the setting I lasted used it for when I switch it off completely each night. However having said this refinding the audio for TV is two clicks away. So I would highly recommend this product for better sound quality on TV at an affordable price.

Great Compact Sound Bar
I had one of those sound bars that were the width of a 50" tv. I sold it and bought this compact JVC sound bar and it's excellent. Impressive sound quality and great design and size. I'd highly recommend it.

Great value small speaker.
It's a good improvement over the inbuilt TV speaker using the optical input ( cable not supplied). Also works as Bluetooth speaker. Looks good and has a small easy to use remote.

Great sound bar for a bedroom TV
The JVC sound bar is perfect for what I need. We use it with the 32' TV in the bedroom, so I wasn't after top hifi surround sound, just something better than the poor sound from the TV speakers. The sound bar is leagues ahead of the TV speakers, it produces a very clear and full sound, good crisp treble without sounding tinny and enough base to give a richness to the sound. It will also go a lot louder than we need and without distorting. The sound bar automatically switches on with the TV and once the TV is switched off will turn off after 4-5 mins.
