This is an 4-tray worm factory. Composting with worms allows you to turn kitchen scraps, paper waste and cardboard into nutrient-rich soil for your plants. With our worm factory, the entire process becomes quicker and easier. Simply add a handful of worms and your organic waste to the bottom tray. The worms will start processing the food. Once the bottom tray is filled, add another tray. The worms migrate upward to the newest food source leaving the bottom tray full of nutrient-rich compost. As waste is broken down, moisture filters through the system, taking nutrient-rich particles with it. This makes it possible to harvest organic liquid fertilizer right from the spigot. Delivery includes a 4-tray worm factory and worm bedding. Dimensions (overall): 42 x 42 x 60 cm (L x W x H) Dimensions (each tray): 36.5 x 36.5 x 12.

Going well so far!
It is only 2 weeks since this arrived and I set it up, so it is not possible to say how well it is working as it is a 3 - 4 week cycle, and that is the only reason I haven't given it 5 stars. It went together well, but I also had to use other on line information about how to set up a wormery, as there were only instructions about putting the structure together. I was disappointed later to find there was a very similar one which was made of recycled plastic, which I would of course have preferred; there were a few minor differences between the two.

High quality recyclable plastic that should not get too brittle too soon. Everything fits well. Instructions a bit sparse. Came well packaged. The stand is a bit low for using the tap to fill certain types of bottle but this is a minor point.

Worm factory
Ideal for producing compost and as I’m a fisherman and gardener it serves 2 purposes bait and good compost it’s a slight problem that the lid is not 100% secure but nothing 2 bulldog clips can’t cure . It also keeps the grandson busy I brought a book composting with worms so after a short time I’ve got it doing it’s job and I’m on the second tray
