This is a book that's about teaching readers how to draw "sexy girls", but as an American, it's more invaluable to me as how to draw different female bodies. In the West, people are always taught to draw male and female bodies in one specific way. It has to always be according to the superhero standard, where the body is seven heads high, thin, and the muscles drawn in a specific way. The Japanese are more detail-oriented, and so they will show multiple ways to draw one thing. In this book, you get "sexy girls", yes, but you get very specific body types--thin and tall, average-sized, curvy, preteen and super buxom.
The only issue I have with this book is that one chapter veers dangerously close to "loli", and that made me a little but uncomfortable. So I try and pretend that it's just showing how to draw a sexy petite young woman, not a preteen. Outside of this issue, this is a very good book overall.
