Non replaceable plastic parts
While outward appearances would indicate this is a well made sewing machine the inside tells a different story, sever key parts of this machine are made of white plastic, Gears and linkages that are no longer available and once they fail render the machine nothing but a parts machine, I would not recommend purchasing one of these machines unless you want it just for displayVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great stitches
I've been sewing for years, many professionally...and though I have 2 industrial machines I like to play with machines with fun stitches..I have Bernina, Pfaff, Janome, Necchi, Juki,and kenmore machines and a brother embroidery machine and serger ..(I may have a slight addiction) I've always thought Brother machines were great.. this machine has great stitches, lots of variety and just fun to use ..its smooth also..the throat space isn't huge, but not an issue for me since I quilt on one of my industrials..a couple of the stitches are the same as the bernina I have and look just as good imo..I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this machine : )Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
