Low cost whole home air purifier
This system scrubs the air clean in our 1000sq’ condo. My wife and I love breathing the clean air. I installed this system myself. I also installed an AprilAir 8320 Thermostat with it to control the REME HALO-LED unit and a Honeywell whole Home Humidifier. You can also wire it to come on whenever the HVAC fan comes on without installing a new thermostat. I ordered the unit with 115-24Vac transformer. I made a HALO - AprilAir interconnect drawing and stuck it on the transformer case as seen in one if the pics. I did a-lot of research trying to find a thermostat with humidistat and air purification control, the AprilAir unit was the only one I found with all the features I wanted. I also replaced the existing air filters with MERV 8 filters. I know we are in a healthier home now. The air feels and smells clean.

Invisible Space Age Technology
We replaced our 5 year old RFG pre HALO REME with a HALO rather than replacing the old bulb which lost its effectiveness after 2 years. Our HVAC service company wanted $1000 to replace it so I searched You Tube and easily replaced it myself in 30 minutes for $400. Air quality was noticeably improved as well as smelling clean and fresh. Allergies No Longer
As most of you know, indoor air quality can be up to 100 times worse than air quality outside. I had researched the Reme Halo for a long time.I went even offered to have it put in when I had my new unit replaced about 5 years ago. Boy am I glad I waited! A couple of years ago, they improved upon the technology by adding LED to it. It now last twice as long, and really does to a good job of filtering and destroying, indoor pollutants. Good product, not so easy to figure out proper wiring
