    Quality tool from a trusted brand

    I selected this saw, with only a cursory look at similar products from other manufacturers, as my previous Bosch saw (PFZ600E) had finally given up the ghost after more than 20 years excellent and reliable service. I'm not sure what I was expecting but although it has a bigger motor than the 600E (700 watt rather than 600 watt) it doesn't feel that much more powerful but this might just be an illusion because it is so much quieter. It is much more comfortable to use than the 600E with the new shape of handle. I miss the trigger lock which greatly reduces the strain on your trigger finger if you're making long cuts but I understand the Health and Safety reasons why this feature has been removed. It was supplied complete with a free wood blade which I understand is not part of the standard package from the manufacturer. I am very pleased with the performance of the saw so far and if it lasts even half as long as the 600E then it will be great value for money and I will be very pleased indeed.

    Worth buying

    Easy to use and easy to change blades, slightly heavier than expected need two hands to use it, but cuts our wood and logs for the fire easily. Finding buying blades in bulk is cheaper. Very pleased with it and would reccomend it.

    Brilliant

    I brought this to help in my garden as I have an awful lot of bushes with thick stumps and I am redesigning it as a lot of them are dying off.As I cut them I will use them in my fire place.Once I started it was so easy to use and not as heavy as I was expecting it to be.The delivery only took two days.I would definitely recommend this.

    Great tool for all jobs

    Used to demolish 12X6 shed constructed with wood, nails and screws. Using the right multiblade it cut through the lot in easy sweeps. I wished I had purchased it 20 yrs ago for all my DIY work.

    right for the job

    great little tool especially for cutting wood ,branches etc,must admit the blade that came with it didn't stay sharp for long not because of overuse either noticed difference after about 6 medium branches not sure if new blades would be any better or would last longer ,also easy to change the blade ,

    Better product.

    The improved blade fastening is very good. It is heavier than early version and doesn't have the safety lock. Although this makes it easier to use carrying it by the handle whilst connected, you can press the trigger. Greater power and improved holding. Bosch blades are a better product to use.

    Good machine

    This is an excellent saw for my needs. The only really disappointing thing was the blade supplied with it. It was very flimsy & didn't last very long. I had ordered extra blades anyhow and they were far better quality. Otherwise a good machine.
