Amberen capsules are the perfect size to swallow. If you take as directed in the morning after your breakfast, I found it to be most effective for the entire day. I do not seem to have intense hot flashes, if any, and if I do get a hot flash its very mild. It also seems to curve my appetite. Nothing has happened yet

The best thing since sliced bread
I love this product as I have tried alot of other menopause products and found they did not work. Before I started taking Amberen I used to wake up at least 3 times during the night feeling hot. My lack of sleep drove me crazy. It took about 2 weeks before it started working for me (others maybe different). dependd on where you are at in menopause
This is a great product for beginners of menopause . I have been in menopause for yrs and have been on a natural hormone replacement program that I pay a lot for so I thought I would try this. Its just ok for me. Hot flashes have diminished quite a bit, but I still get several during the day/night. But its still such a relief not to be sweating constantly. I would recommend at least trying this. I have seen Amberen in stores and it seems to sell out very quickly. You have to give this 30-60 days to see a difference
I wasn't sure if this was working for me at first. I was still having hot flashes, and sometimes they seemed worse than before. Then I read that it can take up to a month for symptoms to lessen or subside. I've been on it for 3 months now, and I DO think it's making a difference. Really works!
I have been struggling with severe hot flashes for 3 years, not a candidate for HR Therapy due to 2 lumpectomies if pre cancerous tumors, begged OBGYN for help, she prescribed Effexor, which is a terrible drug meant for severe depression which I do not have, they prescribe it off label for hot flashes, there are severe side effects including addiction to it, took 1 pill and felt so terrible I didn't take another, took 3 days to feel normal again. So I started researching it on my own, had been using Black Cohosh/Advil/Estroven for a year, they helped a lot, but flashes still persistent, though much better. Then I found Amberen on Ebay and decided to take a chance since it is different than Herbal Estreven. I took 2 pills last night and 2 this morning and have not had a single hot flash!! It's early, don't get me wrong, however, I have not had a single day without hot flashes since this started 36 months ago, so this to me is EPIC! You can take it twice a day which I intend to do since my HF were so severe, (literally every 30 minutes, skin pain, heart racing, feeling like I am about to pass out, not just hot but many other nasty feelings along with the heat.) My thoughts
This product doesn't work for me this is my second time taking the meds and every morning I'm still having my hot flashes it might work for others but this product is not for me at all and I'm going to try something else instead of this I don't know what to do I guess I'll just let it work on this on instead of trying to find out a cure for my hot flashesVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

It really works!
Amberen is the only Menopause product that helps me. I tried others before and didn't see much approvement. I also tried natural, organic items and they also didn't work. I used to had every 10 minutes hot flashes. So annoying. And now I have maybe 5 Hot flashes a day and couple at night. But not to where you sweat so bad you have to change your clothing.
