I have been taking Solgar 7 for the past 2 years having previously taken glucosamine with chrondotin. I am a seasoned runner in my sixties and have been diagnosed with signs of early wear and tear on my knee joints. However, whilst it is difficult to evalulate the benefits of taking Solgar 7 as opposed to not taking it. I believe it has helped to maintain my joint mobility and I am still running with no noticeable knee pain. Definitely helps to alleviate some of the issues with my worn out knees.
I had been using this for a while to help to alleviate the discomfort of worn out knees, along with glucosamine & cod liver oil, but no pain killers. I stopped taking it the last time I ran out, being conscious of the cost & not 100% sure if it was really having any effect. After about a month off it I did notice a definite deterioration in the comfort & mobility in my knees - reorder and resumption have convinced me that this product is beneficial & I will be continuing with it.
