Best value, excellent quality.
This is the second time I have bought these peanut splits and again they are excellent quality. These are uncooked, split nuts, though not all the nuts are split. About 10-15% are still whole, but for me that does not detract from the quality, usefulness and versatility of the peanuts. I use them mostly for squirrels and the larger birds like collared doves, woodpigeons, pigeons, magpies, jays and starlings when I scatter them on the ground. (The foxes like them too.) In the spring and summer I chop them in a food processor before scattering them for the safety of the small birds and their young. I also put them in hanging nut feeders but these are not nearly as popular as the scatter feed I can highly recommend these nuts and fully intend to buy them again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good quality split nuts at a very good price..however...
These are good split nuts, However, once they have your email address you will receive quite a few communications, including 'free offers'. I made the simple 'error' of asking for my meagre free 99p bird suet gift to be included with my next purchase (as I had ordered over £25 of nuts, in fact I have bought over £100 of these over the winter). They came back to me and said because I had ordered via ebay the purchase didn't qualify for the gift. Frankly I didn't care, nor did I care to have to deal with a number of emails regarding this rather petty matter, in the end I told them, end of story, forget the 'gift'.
