Equipped with a bilamellar piston and a diaphragm compensation, this shock absorber ensures perfect stability and an excellent response to the stresses. The piston, with a diameter of 36 mm, consists of two independent lamellar packs: one in extension and one in compression. The lamellar system in harmonic steel with a crossbow configuration guarantees greater resistance and durability. The piston driving skate is made with the B70 lubriflon -ptfe compound, a modified bronze-loaded material. The sliding takes place on a DU driver compass, a composite obtained by sintering of a spheroidal bronze layer on a suitably processed sweet steel band and with subsequent impregnation and reporting of a mixture of PTFE+PB. This combination of materials ensures fluid operation and greater wear resistan.
