The piston, with a diameter of 36 mm, is composed of two independent reed valves: one in extension and one in compression. The spring-loaded steel lamellar system with leaf spring configuration guarantees greater resistance and durability over time. The piston guide shoe is made of LUBRIFLON-PTFE B70 compound, a modified bronze-filled material. Sliding occurs on a GUIDA DU bushing, a composite obtained by sintering a layer of spheroidal bronze on a suitably processed mild steel strip and with subsequent impregnation and coating of a PTFE+PB mixture.
