There are better converters out there,this model is adequate but not exceptional. I’m using it as a inexpensive backup but not as my primary converter. Simple to use & plain Jane model without accompanying cables.Bring your own . Since it’s A/C powered it’s reliablility is better than USB powered. Very good adapter.
I had a awful experience previously with the Chinese mini HDMI to AV, but I wanted to give a try to this one from RASFOX. Even the price is not much higher than the previous one, is worth it every penny. Finally a 15 year old Panasonic Tv Set got resurrected and the image quality on RCA input is better than any broadcast chanel on the TV input. Horrible!
I can’t tell you how bad this thing really is. I mean it doesn’t even function to its purpose. I had to hook it up backwards for it to do something but even when it did work the picture quality was absolutely terrible. I don’t recommend this and I would rather pay even more for a better one that actually works. This thing is so bad that I hooked up a cheaper plastic Chinese box and it worked much better than this one. I wanted to get a better box because the one I have isn’t the best but does work. IT WORKS!!!
In the bedroom is where we keep (and still use) our old TV. We haven't used cable in over 6 months since we got our Firestick in the Livingroom, so I decided to move our Roku 3 to our Old TV (no HDMI). There are MANY converters online, but some had reviews stating that they did not work with Roku. Rest assured, this one definately works and no odd noise or bad picture/feed. All you need is an HDMI to HDMI cable (Roku to converter) and an AVI (3-jack) to AVI cable (Roku to TV)...both of which we already owned. Now plug in the power cords for Roku and for the converter (non-powered converters are not good, in my opinion) and it's done! I entered in the WiFi password for Roku (Roku settings, as normal) to stream Netflix and we started watching (see photos). Super easy, no codes or extra nonsense! We are VERY happy with this purchase. :)

HDMI TO CVBS Converter
This is a great item. Plugged the HDMI in from my analog DVR & plugged an RCA adapter to BNC & plugged that into my flat screen TV thru RG58 cable & instantly had a great picture. For anyone trying to down convert HDMI signal to composites for recording, this does the job.
I have switched to DISH, (no intended plug) and the Hopper 3 has composite (RCA) out jacks, but the picture is compressed vertically when you try to view or record the signal. Nowhere can you find out if similar adapters or converters will rectify this problem. The Rasfox adapter here does the job. It converts your 16 x 9 HDMI signal to a 16 x 9 composite. You can view on an older system that uses only composites (RCA YRW jacks) and if you have a DVD recorder, that uses only composites you can record the signal and still retain the 16 x 9 aspect ratio, or whatever ratio is on the screen. (TCM and a few other channels air in other screen formats.) You MUST plug the converter in for it to work, but it will do exactly what I'm saying it can.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fire Stick Comverter for Older TV
Was looking for sure way to hook up a fire stick to my old sdtv. I had tried the method shown on u tube using a rca cable to HDMI converter.
