The Music Man Axis Super Sport electric guitar is designed for guitarists from a novice ability level up to a professional player. The overall design strategically uses natural wood grain and stain to show dimension. There are 18 different design options for this model of Music Man electric guitar. The bridge for the Music Man Axis Super Sport electric guitar is made from chrome-plated, hardened steel. In addition, solid steel saddles and a vintage tremolo round out the bridge specifications. A weight of 6.81 lbs keeps the guitar lightweight for hours of playing time without tiring, and a shoulder strap is easily attached for additional comfort. Features of this particular Music Man electric guitar include a maple neck, a fingerboard made of either rosewood or maple, and a neck finished in gunstock oil with a special wax blend that is rubbed in by hand. Additional specifications for this Music Man electric guitar include five bolts for the neck attachment, a sculpted neck joint, a graphite acrylic resin coating over the body, DiMarzio humbucking pickups, a five-way pickup lever, and a three-way magnetic toggle.
