Hyundai HYM510SP 196cc Self-Propelled 510mm Petrol Lawnmower The Hyundai HYM510SP lawnmower is a self-propelled mower powered by a Hyundai IC200VE 196cc OHV 4-stroke Euro 5 low emission, low maintenance and extremely economical petrol engine. The mower has a cutting width of 51cm making it ideal for medium to large size lawns and gardens. The cutting height can be adjusted to six positions with 6 cutting height options lever, ranging from 25mm to 75mm. The HYM510SP is assembled tool-free so you can be up and running in minutes and thanks to the CDI ignition system the engine is easily started and the drive to the large rear wheels is controlled from the rear-mounted handle control. The enclosed drive belt can be easily accessed through the new removable maintenance .

Beast mower… great value but heavy!!
Happy with it over all, some great features such as side discharge and mulching which I haven’t seen on many other brands/models. Was easy enough to assemble and started first time once filled with oil and fuel.. Only 2 moans for me…The weight…it’s a heavy piece of kit at about 42 kilos…but it’s a huge mower, big cutting deck and strong engine. The handle does not fold from what I can see for easier storage… not an issue if you have space but not everyone has that luxury…. Time will tell re longevity but I can’t see anything that looks on the weak side and it will be well looked after.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bag fills up fast and takes a few times to get started again
Grass bag only fills half full and engine cuts out, the side hole thing doesn’t work and clogs up and engine stops working when this happens you have to tip lawn mower and clear the grass from the blade and doesn’t start first time after you have to stop it which is a lot and grass was dry and not long. A beast of a mower, let down only by the grass collection box.
A great value for money lawnmower, and more than capable in all but one area. The grass collection box.! This mower is so simple to assemble and get it up and running. Started first time every time and the decibel level is very acceptable. It cuts through long and short grass with ease. The self propelled motor runs at a nice speed and the mower is very easy to manoeuvre. This could easily have been a 5* review, but the mower is let down very badly by the grass collection box. My old mower along with this one, both have a 70L grass collection box, but I can honestly say that I had to empty this one three to four times more than I did my old one. A real bug bare ! Grass is not compacted enough. You get trails of grass cuttings left at the sides when mowing, if the collection box gets more than half full. But if constantly emptying the grass box doesn't bother you, then everything else about this mower is fabulous. Value for money
Don't expect stihl quality for a budget price and you'll be quite happy. No instructions but easy enough to assemble. My garden is quite challenging anytime but 1st cut of the year is normally a real chore - not with this. Did a respectable job and no sweat raised. What a heap of Junk
Sheared bolt in bottom of packing box! Not a good start. (Never found where from) Added oil and fresh petrol but would not start at all. Phoned helpline( pointless, not staffed by mechanics) eventually found water in carb! Once eventually started the mover cut well and the drive was powerful for about 5 minutes until the mower overheated and cut out! This thing is a heap of junk and proves the old saying “buy cheap, buy twice! I will be sending it back and buying something reliable next time!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Possible improvement option
The unit arrived in good condition & was easily assembled. Only two small plastic “things”could not be placed anywhere as they were not in the instructions but that’s no issue! However, after two minutes use(50metres,) the air filter cover opened & the filter was destroyed which made the machine useless until a £3 replacement could be obtained, An improved air filter cover design would solve the issue. A simple “lug or lip with a hole” through which a bolt or a strap could fit to secure the cover would be a simple, addition to the design. In practice, I have used a cable tie to make sure the cover does not come off - wish I had thought of that at the outset! I advise doing this before use. Very good mower, exceptional value.
We have a large garden and the mower worked extremely well, cutting the long grass with easy. Some of the long grass ws extremely wet.n My wife, a pensioner, has no problem starting the mower. Good machine, I’d try it
We have only used once but pleased, the grass has come back looking really good and the overall look is very good. . We were sceptical, so many machines on the market.
