Wonderful for my usage. I am going to use them as long as they keep up the great work.
My right knee, I am bone to bone, and I have to wear a sleave with straps to keep me up right. I have arthritis and blockage in both legs. Pinching and burning too. I don't want to use drugs to ease the pain, because I want to have a valued life with my wife, son and grandchildren. I have tried several things in the past without a lot of luck. Close to a month ago I got my Omega XL! The very moment I got my order I started taking XL as described. Within two days, I could feel the difference in 2 days. Overall, it has lessened my burning probably by 90-95%. The pinching and aches in the legs also less at about 85-95 pain. I understand that it doesn't work for all people but overall, I am very pleased, and I will continue taking them. September 27th one of my providers ask them why you are in a wheelchair? Omega XL3 really really works!
I have been taking Omega XL3 for 5 years. It really does help with my aches and pains. It's good for my heart health too. I can't tolerate fish oil, it repeats on me and I taste fish all day. Omega XL3 does not bother my stomach, no after taste. It helps with arthritis. The little gel caps are really small, easy to swallow. I ran out last week and could really feel the difference. XL made a surprising difference when I was injured
The product fulfills all of the promises of inflammation reduction. It does, however, raise the PSA score in men. I have had this experience twice, where taking one or two caps of fish oil or equivalent omega 3 oils daily have raised my PSA. When I stopped taking any supplement, six months later the PSA dropped over a whole point. I started taking XL over a year ago just before my last physical. It improved my joint motion, reduced any pain associated with these joints and I thought was in small enough doses to minimize my PSA count. Daily doses, sometimes two caps, lead to the increase in the count. I have learned something of value, however, for anyone who suffers a sudden back or muscle injury. We typically take Ibuprofen and in my case, a severe back muscle injury usually took a few weeks to clear up, with the first few day loading up on 600 mg;s of ibuprofen twice a day. As an experiment, just two weeks ago when I again had a serious muscle strain that crossed my entire lower back and extended into my hip muscles, I added two caps per day of the XL, which I took in the morning after ingesting the ibuprofen. Throughout that day, the pain was diminished enough to allow me to function carefully, standing at my bench or desk and carefully sitting and standing to avoid more injury. By nightfall, I slept comfortably. In the morning, I stood up carefully out of bed but did have a lack of motion when putting on my clothes, which strained me a bit, but there was no acute pain. I walked out standing straight up, very unusual in my history after such a severe back strain. Took the three Ibuprofen and a bit later two XL's. By noon, I realized that I was nearly normal, no pain, no terrible aches when moving. I'm telling you, I was shocked! I've had this bad back ever since a bad injury in 1968, which subsequently would hit me time and time again. I'd lose at least a week of work even with ibuprofen when it came available. I took so much it may have caused kidney cysts. But now, at 71 years, I recovered so fast from this latest strain, I find it hard to believe, and I think it is the result of the XL in combo with the ibuprofen. I stopped taking the XL after three days as well as the ibuprofen and have been fine since. I miss taking the XL because it helped the joints but I want to reduce it to lower the PSA. I'll know in five months, I'm going back in October for the test. Anyway, that's what worked for me, shockingly enough. I will use it sparingly, maybe one or two caps a week, after my PSA drops or if I have another back problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
