A must if you have a lot of undercutting to do.
My home was built around 1912 and has 6" base boards and wainscoting in the dining room with two built in china hutches. I wanted to undercut everything to install laminate flooring without using quarter round molding. I also had to deal with 8 inside corners. This saw made quick work of it all. I had a shop vac hooked up to it when in use but, it still made quite a mess. I don't know how much worse it would have been without the vac as whatever it picked up went into a bag.

Disappointed
After reading reviews I decided to purchase this this tool to cut jams and base moulding for a very large flooring install project. Half way through we decided to pull the base moulding and replace it because the saw just couldn't do the job. In fairness the job was on a house built in the 20's and the floor was fairly uneven.
