An well designed fit for purpose light
I was sceptical at first. However, when it arrived I followed the instructions carefully. It stated it needed 3 days in the off position, to charge the batteries, 4 in winter months. So I left it 5 days. Although the panel was facing south, it didn't receive much sun and so I wasn't expecting much, yet the first time I used it...boom what a fantastic light! The remote control is amazing, so there is no fiddling around in the dark for the pull cord, just point in the general direction and click. Avoid - cheap, weak and unreliable
Was recommended these by a friend but one of the two I bought suffered a fracture to the connection between the solar panel and mounting bracket just from regular handling - weak design and just waiting to happen. One of the two lights is doing a reasonable job on a small shed the other has been up for 2 weeks and when I turned it on tonight it just died in power almost instantly despite several days charging without being used. Great value, really easy to install and works a treat. Solar shed light
The light is very efficient compared to some other solar lights I’ve used in the past, it’s not as good as 240v bulb but in my 6’x6’ no electric shed it’s fine and YES I would recommend it. Of course in the winter and little sun 🌞 there might be problems !Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

An excellent product well designed
This lamp is well thought out with an excellent design. Having the lamp separate to the solar panel allows the lamp to be fitted into the ceiling and the solar panel fitted outside. Great little light
From opening up the box I did think this isn’t gonna do much for light. Installed it into a 6x8 shed and was amazed once it charged on how bright it was,I don’t use the remote control I just turn it off & on via the solar switch so it keeps Charging in the day.

Poor light levels
Lights work as described, but they’re not what you call bright. I purchased two of these to light a shed, and even with them both running there isn’t really enough illumination for my purposes.
