Full featured and excellent value for money

I haven't used the mouse as I'm happy with my existing one but the keyboard is great. It has all the features of a standard keyboard and the quick access buttons are really useful too. The keys are perfect for me, not too heavy, not too light and have a pleasing sound when typing although the space bar is louder than the rest. The quality is better than you would expect for the price, especially as it has the numerical keypad which is a feature you sometimes have to pay more for. It worked immediately upon connecting the dongle without the need for additional drivers.

  • Most critical review

Could be good products execpt for tiny issues.

A few unfortunate issues otherwise could have been great value products: 1) The key board requires a different type of battery to the mouse - a bit of a nuisance to have to buy 2 types of batteries ... 2) A few keys on the keyboard do not respond unless one hits them a few times or a bit harder. 3) In spite of inserting a new battery in the mouse, the battery went flat after about ten days. Haven't worked out yet if the battery was faulty or the mouse is hungry of power. Replacement battery has only been in the mouse for a few days so I'll know in about 2/3 weeks. 4) Caps lock light is extremely tiny and very dim. Difficult to notice so doesn't always alert user that the Caps lock in accidentally on. That can be a nuisance. Positive features: keyboard has volume control and dvd play/forward/stop buttons + the usual keyboard buttons

  • Solid Inexpensive Keyboard Combo.

Ordered this very inexpensive keyboard and mouse combo as the last 2 more expensive keyboards from another very popular maker I have had did not do at all well. I thought I would try a cheaper combo. It arrived very quickly direct from Hong Kong, packaging was "basic" but did the job surprisingly including being posted through my letterbox by the Postie. The instructions said the dongle thingy was in the battery compartment of the keyboard but it was in fact inside the mouse No problem setting it up and the keyboard body is much more solid that the previous efforts I have had, (they bent in the middle when typing and no, I am not a gorilla!) the keys are slightly textured which I like, the mouse isn't good and very jerky so I have reverted to the old mouse, the keyboard is fine all is well so I just hope it stays that way, good value for the price.

  • Tecknet bluetooth keyboard and mouse

Nice piece of kit. Works well. So simple to set up and ready to use straight away. Mouse has on/off switch. Would like keyboard to have one too.

  • A good practical keyboard and mouse for the price.

A solid device however the battery (AAA) compartment cover on the keyboard tends to spring open, perhaps a hinged compartment would have been better. I don't know how long the battery (one only) will work but so far its lasted 3 weeks. The keyboard has 9 small keys above the function keys for Internet, mail, video and sound control which seem to operate well. The keys are slightly conured and give the feel of some of the more expensive keyboards. Compared to the small wired keyboards its design is a little more ergonomic with a small curve below the space bar. The mouse is pretty a standard design with a wheel and has a descent range. I suspect it is designed to sleep when not in use although it does have an "off" button and takes an (AA) battery which gives it a bit of weight. Using Windows 10 and Windows XP it jumps in with no problems when you insert the USB transmitter (which you will find in the secret compartment in the mouse). So far it has proved a reliable and efficient. I would buy one of these again as it feels very comfortable to use.

  • It’s a good product for the price

The keyboard is very lightweight and have found you cannot really rest on it while you thinking while typing as it bends. However saying that the price paid cannot grumble. It connected easy and the keys are good on the keyboard when you press them Does not use loads of batteries either which is good. As say does what it says on the tin and I cannot grumble with it. Just don’t rest on keyboard as said mine has bent I was not resting heavily on it.

  • Terrible wireless connection ruins a otherwise good keyboard and mouse.

Major problem with this keyboard is the wireless connection. If your keyboard/mouse is in direct line of sight of the wireless dongle it works very well. But otherwise its completely unusable. How in this day and age a wireless connection can be so poor is beyond me. I have no USB sockets in the front of my PC, so had to put the dongle in the back, I'm about 7 feet away from the PC yet its still incredibly frustrating with the amount of missing key strokes and stuttering from the mouse. I had to buy a USB extension just to make the thing work.

  • A proper, fully featured keyboard with a decent mouse at a good price. What more could you ask!

I've had TeckNet mice before, but this is the first TeckNet keyboard mouse combination and I just think it's excellent value for money. All too often one finds that budget keyboards do not have a proper standard arrangement, full set of keys, indicator lights to tell you when caps lock or numb block are activated, et cetera. This keyboard has everything you would expect. Great value for money.

  • Good value for money keyboard and mouse that is functional and still lightweight

The touch of the keyboard is positive and smooth. It will be interesting to see how well is performs over a period of time but it has started well.

  • Great product No messy wires. Light weight easy to use.

Great product No messy wires. Do I recommend this wireless keyboard? You betcha. Simple to set up just hook up using the dongle insert two batteries in the rear and your all set to go. That's it two minutes to be up and running and no messy wires to trip over or get tangled up.
