Black silicone in a small tube with a lot of uses - bought to repair a tear in my car's side window rubber seal. The gap was about 4mm and this gloop applied in 3 stages has bridged the gap and sealed the holes very effectively. Apply and wipe with a plastic stick or moist finger (as per bathroom silicone) and it works well. I had to cure it quickly with a small hair dryer as it was a bit too cold outside for it to happen naturally and I had to be able to close the door pdq! The silicone is thinner perhaps than the bathroom variety but it is at least black to match car parts. And now I have repaired a tear in a pair of silicone oven gloves - excellent!

I purchased this to replace the aerial seal on my car. I thought it would go on like bathroom sealant, but it doesn't go on as smoothly, as soon as you touch it it sticks to you. I just found it very difficult to get it looking nice. For any internal use, I'm sure it would be fine, as definitely is waterproof.

This handy size sealer comes with a nozzle you can trim to the size of bead to be laid down. It's nicely packaged from a trusted name that I've known from my early years in the motor accessories industry. If I had one criticism it'd have to be that the metal the tube is made from is perhaps a little thin and so prone to seepage if subjected to repeated use or "rolling up'. However this is a very minor issue and will probably not occur during most applications.
