Solid Reel
The Scientific Anglers System II is a solid reel. Very good quality and a good value for it's price range. I used the 7/8 reel with 8 weight line for Bass, Steelhead and Salmon for almost 30 years with no issues. I just bought a 9/10 to use with a 9/10 graphite rod and 9 weight line for Muskies and Pike. The drag system in this reel can handle the heavy weight stuff with ease. I personally don't know of a better value in a fly reel system.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Best reel for the money of any salt-water reel
