Prep everything for one spray session. Nozzle does clog easy as many comments (aerosol brake parts cleaner fixed that) I followed K2 website instructions ( 3 light coats over 90mins ) and am totally happy with my 32yr old camper bumper parts, Good prep, keep nozzle clean and shake it lots its thick stuff.

I bought this in hope of a more durable paint for my van bumper as didnt fancy colour coding, the cans clog up. Ive got 2 cans sat here 3 qtrs full with blockages , nozzles are both clear, and were well shaken as i had a feeling it would be thick paint, really disappointed

This stuff looks great and is as easy to apply as any rattle can paint. I had a reasonable result with my faded bumpers on my T4. The only thing I would say is its only a 1 hit wonder meaning, you won't get to use the can on 2 occasions, the nozzle gets blocked and then becomes unusable. If there were 2 nozzles supplied that would certainly help this. I managed to use most of a can and get my rear bumper done but it did start to spit towards the end and a few big spots came out of the can as it was getting blocked up. I used probably about 80% of the tin and with the current nozzle thats all I'm expecting to get out of it. Was enough for my rear bumper. Make sure its well mixed/shaken and have thr tin at 20°c to help with a little extra pressure in the tin.

Ok - so I thought I'd try this to make my van bumpers look 'new' again. I brought 6 cans & 5 cans have stopped working...they just clog up and stop spraying. the one remaining can that seems to be hanging on for dear life - gives more of a splatter than a spray & fairly certain is not due to be in this world for much longer. I expect these would be great for spraying smaller areas - almost like a touch-up on a corner, but a large bumper .simply forget it. As the cans don't spray even, its damm near impossible to get an unblemished finish on the bumper - no matter what spray pattern you use, or how close/faraway you try. light coats / heavy coats - it just doesn't finish correctly & looks patchy. I've tried shaking the can within an inch of my life...still clogs, warming the can up makes naff all difference also. Sadly I'm now in the situation where I have 3 of my 4 bumper parts kinda painted in this stuff and 'passable' but not great. I've now got to figure out how to do the final one with 5 nonworking cans. Would have been quicker to color-code them instead. Read full review

I had tried Frost plastic texture paint, but that was very thin, no build, and minimal texture. The K2 paint is much better in that it does builds well and provides a reasonable texture, also dries quickly. The problem as others have said is nozzle clogging. I had shaken the can for about 3 minutes initially, then a couple of minutes before each coat. About half way through the can it started spluttering and clogging. I have thoroughly cleaned the nozzle, inverted the can after use and sprayed inverted to clear the nozzle, but it almost immediately clogs again. The problem is I am spraying a dashboard, so a faily large area. As soon as the can splutters and you get some large drops on the surface than that coat is ruined. I've ordered two more cans just in case to finish the job off. I need one fairly wet consistent coat to get an even finish. The next can , before use I'll try placing in a bucket of hot water for a few minutes, maybe leave it inverted for a while, then shake for several minutes before using. So it can provide a good finish, but order a spare can or two to ensure you can complete your job.Read full review
