My rescue dog is highly strung and doesn't have an "off" switch so constantly needing something to do... the "yakkys" as we call them last for more than one day with a lot of hard work needed to scrape them down and he totally loves the last bit when you put it in the microwave.

I gave these to my dogs who were vaguely interested for a few seconds then completely not interested. So I popped them in the microwave and then puffed up and I tried again. This time the dogs were interested and ate them which was great but it took no time. I appreciate they are supposed to be chewed before microwaving so for dogs willing to chew them they may well last longer. Unfortunately its a big no from us and therefore wouldn't recommend.

My three small dogs loved the yakers only problem was, they liked them so much, even the large size ones only lasted a couple of days. Turns out to be a very expensive treat that they will get on a rare occasion now.

Have been looking for something to replace the rawhide chews and thought this as it was advertised as being a seriously hard and long lasting chew would be the answer to my needs. However my 8 year old springer had it pretty much down to the end piece within half an hour of getting it. At £5 pounds a go I don't think this will be a regular option for her altrhough she did love it. Raw hides last a couple of hours at least so this won't be the replacement I need.

My frenchie loves yakers but they don’t last as long as I thought it would & for the price my pooch will only be having them as a treat every now & then
