Better read this before you buy
OK - the mount is well made, mounts easily and securely without having to remove the rear sight and looks good on the rifle. At least as good as any mount that is put on a modern Browning SA-22 can look. If you are like me putting a scope on your rifle is not an option if you want to hit what you are aiming at. Open sights are a thing of the past for many older folks. The problem with this mount is that it sits so far forward you need to use a scope with an intermediate (6-7 inch) eye relief and there aren’t many of those around, especially with smaller diameter lens - such as 28 or 32 mm. I tried several scopes I had around the house and the only one that sort of worked was a Nikon Prostaff 2x7x32. It must have about a 4 inch eye relief and I still have to really lean into it. I read one person said to use a straight tube scope because it can mount farther back. That might work. I just wish Browning would have machined 3/8 inch grooves in the receiver like the old Belgium SA-22s had. That would have solved this whole problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Iron clad warranty, for life, even if you found it in the trash, just send it to them they will repair and return. some of the other Manufacture's so called lifetime warranty that come up with excuses to sell you a replacement.
