So easy to use. Nice and sharp, so no struggling to cut through branches. Has an easy locking system. Nice and light for carrying. Not as good as their older model
Spear and Jackson older model was much much better than this one, i used one for years and it was great.this has a stupid sort of double handle does not cut as large wood and has an awkward switch to close up after use ,and it's expensive. These Secateurs are very good and do what they are supposed to do easily cutting twigs and branches up to 25mm thick! I had a pair of Ratchet Secateurs in the past, (not Spear and Jackson), and they were let down by the ratchet mechanism. These are a good pair of secateurs. Not too heavy, nicely balanced and well built. Will cut stems up to 2cm wide with relative ease. I have mid-sized hands (for a female) and can use them with little issue.
