It saves time and energy
I am restoring a 1950 Mercury Meteor(canadian Ford), and the old flatheads I have worked on we did not have a floor jack etc, we used bumper jacks and cinder blocks under the tires. We then unbolted the driveshaft, trans mount, put a cinderblock/with short 2x4, unbolted the transmisson and inched it back until we lowered it(we were much younger and tougher, since sometimes your chest caught it. But now with the triple lift(i'm 82 n0w) I can lift/move out/and lower it without the crushing, and cursing Yay !!

A floor jack I would not recommend
Cheaply made, the swivel “ ball bearing” castor wheels are junk. Used once and the wheel bearings all came out.
