A good value for under $150
Duxot watches are an anomaly. Not available for sale in the US, yet showing a USD retail price above $600, it seems they’re available only through watch subscription services. If they can be acquired on the secondary market for under US$159, they are a good value. This Solicitus shows a good quality build, keeps good time (Seiko NH35 movement? Not specified), and has a nice field watch (a la Explorer) design. I’m not comparing it to an Explorer and it’s not really an homage, but it has that Explorer “vibe”. Good bracelet. My only issue with the watch is the toughness of the engraving on the case back. My only issue with the brand (that is apparently part of the AV8 and Spinnaker family) is the overinflated MSRP, which I can only surmise is there to show “value” when one receives it from a subscription service.

Looks and wears good
I am a fan of Duxot and have been for a while. I also have this watch with a blue dial and leather band. I love them both and I'm glad I made this purchase.
