Chip pan
The lid didn’t fit the saucepan with the basket in, and the handles of the basket keep falling into the hot fat, so I found it very hard to use,I had to use a fork to keep trying to get the basket handles out of the fat. Not very good at all, good stew pot.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

very dangerous pan
The pan handles get too hot to touch when the pan is being used. You cannot move it at all unless you wear oven gloves or similar to protect the hands. The mesh drainer is also useless as the handles are not designed to clip onto the outer pan and fall into the hot oil when cooking. All in all a very dangerous pan and not something I would ever buy again. I had to purchase another pan with a longer handle.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Old-Skool wins!
For a small cost, you can take a step back to the time when you craved your Grandparents’ cuisine. Its sturdy, can store your oil/lard, the net-basket handles can be a little floppy but thats a tiny flaw versus the outcome, the glass lid fits as it should, and its not overly big so easy to store. I use 4 blocks of lard, and produce spectacular chips. Overall its a great little fryer, and cant go wrong for the cost!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
