As usual the manual is a bit short on detail as regards orientation and sizes. Trial and error sorted that out. There is a bizarre problem with the nuts and bolts where the bolt head is a different size to the nut! One of them is non standard so we had to use an adjustable spanner to tighten them. It collects the grass well but not as the grass is being cut. I'm not sure why but if I towed it as I cut the grass it left lots on the ground. However when I used it on pre-cut grass it worked well. Make sure you tighten the nuts well, as bouncing over bumpy lawns soon loosens anything that is not tight. I found the height adjuster and washer in the grass collector when I emptied it! Overall this solved a problem at less than the cost of a manufacturers collection unit. Far faster than using a lawn rake!
Assembly is definitely not to be taken lightly.
It took about 2.5 hours and I work with machinery. Too much time needed to correctly interpret the instructions.
In addition to a 10 mm spanner and a 13 and 14 mm spanner, I would recommend a 10 mm round file, a small hammer and a first aid kit.
Once built it works well and is fairly robust but loosely assembled.
Not great value but useful.
