Jumble Madness is a touch-screen translation of the popular pen-and-paper puzzle series, which appears in hundreds of newspapers across the United States and abroad. Jumble puzzles present a list of words with mixed-up letters alongside a single-panel cartoon with a riddle or hint in its caption. Players unscramble the nonsense anagrams in the list to form proper words, and this reveals a second set of letters. Sorting the second set of letters into a word or phrase gives the answer to the riddle in the caption, and often completes a pun on a familiar saying or a makes a crafty pop-culture reference. DS gamers choose from five variations of Jumble play, including the straight-up "Daily Jumble," "Jumble Crosswords," "Jumble Rumble," "Jumble Jong," and a wireless multiplayer Vs. mode.

Addicted to Jumbles !
Growing up with the daily Jumble in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette started my addiction to this wonderful AND educational word game that still rages on today. I still do the daily ... if a package arrives from E bay and is packed with newspaper it's a happy surprise if the Jumble page is found ! It was a natural the Jumble people would ante up their game with a Nintendo DS marriage ... MADE IN GAME PLAYERS HEAVEN ! But seriously if you like the Jumble word game this Nintendo DS version is a must have. Easy to play and maneuver, this game include 5 game variations. It's beyond fun, but right now I don't have any more words ... they all seem to be JUMBLED !
