Fabulous well acted movie
Tim is a stunning movie . Each and every actor plays their part with an incredible believability. Mel Gibson plays an astounding part as a 24 year innocent young man with learning disabilities . Each expression on his face and each word he utters has you thinking you are watching reality . It is a story of an average everyday Aussie family . Only Tim is different and his family accept the fact that he will always be that way . However ,the arrival of an older woman ,Mary Horton (played by Piper Laurie ) . Tim is unsure of the feelings he develops . He doesnt know what they mean. Despite having watched this 1979 movie many times back in the day , it never feels to move me to tears .
