Lightweight, in every respect
A cosmetic deterrent - plastic throughout. It's fiddly to fit as the sizing shims/inserts fall out. I reckon I could be through the plastic constructed body in about a minute with a manual hacksaw and seconds with my DeWalt angle grinder. The keys have a 'sticky' action in the lock barrel. It's also not easy to put onto a faired bike that already has it's steering lock engaged - it would have been better designed if the hinge was on the lever side rather than the throttle. It's all a bit cheap and nasty and in my view most of the costs of manufacture are in the packaging - nice bit of foam and glossy printed box. Oh, and if you omit 'Oxford' from your search you will see quite a few identical plastic lever locks with 'silly' names, all made in China - probably in the same factory as this - and around a tenner. Plastic clip, inserts all fell out! Not a great device. I wouldn’t rely on it.
Nice idea but not the best. Probably wouldn’t bother. It’s a visible deterrent at best. It locks on the front brake, obviously no point in putting on the clutch but would be OK for a scooter. An annoyance for a potential thief but it’s not going to stop someone determined to pinch your wheels. Think a strong screwdriver would sort this out though. Comes with inserts/pads to fit but annoyingly they keep falling out. More show to get a toe rag to move on to the bike next to yours.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Visible deterent.
I use a chain and disc lock already but this lock is very visible. Once fitted it locks the front brake on and restricts use of the throttle. If the bikes on the centre stand its virtually impossible to push it off the stand as the front wheel wont turn. Its light weight but is quite large but it fitted in my jacket pocket. Its made of some sort of plastic but its another layer of protection to get past if some scumbag is looking to steal your bike. Worth a punt.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
