My husband has used a leather sheath that came with the gift 'Leatherman' 17 years ago.. it has been on his hip everyday since (except when he went to work till he got home) .. crawling under mobile working on everything around here the leather sheath wore out. Not a good choice for carrying multiple items
The leatherman wave fits very loosely in the sheath and the side pockets are open at the bottom so that whatever you place in them is held there solely by the strength of the elastic so items can be knocked out if caught on something or simply by working themselves out. The leatherman tool just slops around in the sheath and doesn't fit well. I thought it would be good to hold a leatherman wave and a bit extender but very poorly designed. I would explore other options of carrying multiple items, this sheath just isn't worth it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Shoud be original equipment on the tool.
Well made. In expensive. Very functional and keeps the took secure. Origional Leatherman Sidekick took came with a flimsy leather (Suede) pouch and a caribeaner type tool to hang it from your belt. Lightweight, cost efficient.
My husband has carried a Leatherman since the late 1980s, so he's gone through some tools and plenty of sheaths. This is a replacement for his new model Wave. These are generally good for a couple of years of daily wear and tear. The quality, it's good, not necessarily great. It is, after all, a mass production item. a tool chest in your pocket
This is like carrying 40 some screw drivers in your front pocket (or small pouch) it has the off shaped ones that can really get you out of a pinch. Lightweight and strong, velcro closure is weak point
This sheath is very tough the only downside is that the Velcro closure wears out after a while. That's to be expected after months of hard use. I would recommend this sheath over the leather version. Best price I found that included all these
These were shipped quickly and we're new and unused. I looked for these bits and extention at several online and back Friday adds. I received a tool and wanted the other bit set to keep with me. We travel in an RV and also do home repairs. This set has all the bits I need for these uses. The extension makes using these flatten bits easier and also let's you use standard bits. Well worth the money.
I have had my Leatherman is a sheath exactly like these and the nylon sheath will last several years. Just keep the velcro closure lint-free. Great quality and very handy
I carry this kit with me when I ride my Harley Davidson and ride my bicycle. This kit covers for having to carry many tools which would add weight and require space. Leatherman not like he used to be
Leatherman not like he used to be. The original pouches that came with my purchases of Leatherman products since the 90s serve me well. This Leatherman pouch did not adequately fit my Leatherman super tool or my wave. I have worn out my previous Leatherman products over the years. These pouches were inferior compared to the Leatherman products I have purchased in the past.
