  • Zowie ZA13: One FPS mouse to rule them all.... (well me at least) :-D

If you're not familiar with Zowie and their Big Brother owners, Ben-Q, they make and sell in my opinion the best competitive gaming mice and monitors in the business. I play a lot of CounterStrike : Global Offensive. As most of you probably know this is a team based first person shooter and it requires teamwork and precision aiming. A mouse with a great sensor and perfect ergonomics can make a huge difference in your game. I have been using a Zowie mouse since they first released the AM and before they were bought out by Ben-Q. I still have my AM and it still works perfectly after about 6 years of every day use. I've worn off some of the finish though and had an itch to try something new. I heard so much hype about the new 3366/3360 sensor and the Logitech G Pro I decided to try it. That is a good mouse too with a supposedly superior sensor but the ergonomics just don't compare to Zowie. The G Pro felt blocky and square in comparison. The smaller ambidextrous mice suit me best and this ZA13 is absolutely perfect for my hands. I claw grip with my fingers yet I rest the bottom of my palm on the rear of the mouse. It's a bit of an unconventional grip style but this mouse would be great for claw grip or palming. The mouse is pleasing to look at, the matte rubber is great and the sensor is flawless. Don't be fooled with astronomically high DPI settings, they are largely useless for low sensitivities/precision aiming in fps games. I use 400 DPI, 2.6 sens, 6/11 windows send and 1000hz polling rate. This mouse won't turn you into Na'Vi - s1mple but if you put in the time it will certainly help you on your quest. It's an awesome gaming mouse and it works perfectly for me. I am 5"11 with small to medium hands and a wide palm. Hope this helps !

  • Perfect.

While it's a little small for the average person. This mouse fit me perfect and I never thought that a mouse could make me better at fps in general but....I'll be damned. This mouse is fantastic and well worth the $45 I spent.
