GREAT STARTER TANK

Good tank, but small.
What you see is what you get (Except the 5 fish swimming around pictured on the box; that won't work). It's a small tank, but not too bad for a beginner. I don't recommend putting anything in it besides a Betta, African Dwarf Frogs and/or Ghost Shrimp. That being said, it would be easy to over-crowd, so be careful. If you set it up right, it's got plenty of room for a Betta to swim around + some gravel and a small plant. The set-up comes with a filter, bubbling system and LED lights, which changes colour on it's own; really nice for a small light show in your room while you're sleeping, unless you don't like that sort of thing. However it does not come with gravel or decorations. It was a little difficult to attach the water pump to the filter's pump, but it didn't take too long. It's not exactly got a 'great' price, but it's not terrible either if you're just looking for something small but not 'too' small, as well as reliable. This tank was a gift for my Mom, who is quite happy with it for her first tank. All in all, I would recommend this but only to beginners who want a Betta or some Dwarf Frogs/Ghost Shrimp.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Too small
The picture on the box is misleading. It looks like you can fit plants and fish I side comfortably, however, you cannot. 1 gallon isn't even enough room for a Betta. It can be useful, though! It works well as a spare tank during cleanings.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Who wouldn't want to see their fish party in a fish tank with changing color lights and mini bubbles floating in the center and a mini filter system. One could say the color lights isn't needed but for the price sure why not. Let's shorten their life span for color lighting. Yay. Perfect nano aquarium for a bed side table
I replaced my dim lamp with this and I don’t regret it! Even though it’s small, and I don’t really plan on putting anything in except shrimp and guppy fry or even a small snail. It’s boiling with life, looks modern, everything is in place and in general I am happy with this product.
