Power and Balance in a Lightweight Tool
I've wanted a DeWalt orbital sander ever since borrowing one from a pro friend. It has power to quickly do any sanding job, it is balanced in the hand, and the velcro-style sandpaper holder works well. I have smaller hands and it's still lightweight enough for me to use skillfully. One of my favorite features is the dust collector bag, which attaches firmly to the sander and does NOT leak any dust! (The other is its storage bag, roomy enough to hold extra sandpaper and more.) I've used this for home improvement projects such as preparing walls and wood trim for painting, and sanding down old doors to fit better in their frame. I haven't yet used it for refinishing furniture, but that will be next! Bottom line: lightweight, easy to handle, well-balanced and powerful. All-round Sander.
This is a good all-round sander. A multitude of available grits makes it useful for stock removal as well as fine finishes. The dust collection, with bag or vacuum, is a nice feature. A nice upgrade
