In due time
I purchased the iRig UA to practice in my apartment without bothering the neighbors. It's a great little device that works rather well for just that. I've only used it with headphones so I can't say how good it would be for recording or as a preamp. My only complaint is that it takes a while for the Amplitude UA app to launch when I 1st plug in to play. If not for that I'd rate 5*

Works OK
I bought the iRig UA so I could use my android phone as a headphone amp for practicing. Also as an audio input for my MacBook Pro. As an audio interface it is great, low noise and sounds good. With my phone, it works, but the Amplitube app that you have to use is pretty bad. The clean sounds are ok but the distortions are thin and unnatural sounding and will give you a headache after a while. It will work OK just for practicing on the go.

I recently purchased this and used Amplitube UA with it, really sounds nice. I was impressed at how well it sounds and I no longer have to lug around my amp when I want to take it on the road. It works well with my android tablet.
