This product performs exceptionally well - I have received many compliments on it's powerfull output
This lamp is great for videos when you need a flood of continuous light. The battery life is excellent even at full output. You may not often need full output it is so bright. In researching nearly everything that I buy online (faster than returns), I noted the extreme difficulty in finding proper batteries for other brands at lower prices. It doesn't matter how much you saved if you can't find batteries or they cost considerably more. The batteries did not fit well into the lamp's holder but not to difficult. I still give this product a high rating because it surpasses in all other areas. If you have tri-pods missing the mounting plugs, just use a bolt and 2 nuts to be able to use this light off of the camera. Thank youVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value fro the price
This light works well for a consumer/prosumer application. A pro videographer might not find the construction heavy-duty enough, but, hey, for the price you can have several spares. A great feature is the ability to use several types of battery. For those with certain Sony or Panasonic cameras, you've already got a supply of batteries that work well for this light, and if not, AA batteries are also an option.
