Handy way to carry and distribute .22 ammo
When I go to the range, I typically bring 9mm and 22 caliber guns. For the 9mm, I bring a bunch of pre-loaded magazines. Prior to the Catch-22, I would bring a small box of 22 ammo. Now I'll just bring a catch-22 or two, which isn't much more bulky than the 9mm magazines. With the individual tubes and adjustable cap, as me and my partners switch off shooting targets, it's easy to dole out 5 or 10 shots at a time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Definitely would recommend these.
Bought these to check if I would like better than the tube style loaders for my tube magazine rifles. More compact and just as easy to use. Great idea .. BUT!
Well, I made it work. First .. I use these at the rifle range where I fire lots of rounds. Someone wrote that the rounds were loose and rattled because they didn't fit tightly in the holes. Well, the designers stuffed some cotton (or something) in the bottom of the holes and I couldn't get the five .22 LR's in the holes without considerable effort. and the last of the five rounds, per hole, didn't come out as expected. I had to us an old cleaning rod and hammer to stuff the cotton down tightly so I could get the five rounds, per hole, in each one of the holes. It's a good design and a great idea but I wasn't totally happy with the "fix" the designers came up with. I can't imagine a loud enough rattle to cause a problem. In my opinion, they were best left alone and let the user do the "fixing" if anyone so desired.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Happy with Camo Catch 22s
Great way to carry an extra 50rds of 22LR ammunition. The added cotton for sound proofing did make it a little difficult to push down the last 5rds to get the lid to slide shut. But not that big of a deal. This feels heavy duty and a high quality storage container, and the belt clip looks and feels rugged enough to last. Excellent way to carry spare .22 ammo in the field!
