Makita Quality
I've been a contractor since the 1970s, a Makita user since the 1980s. Not every single design was a great success but their overall longevity still amazes me to this day. If you’re looking for cheap, don’t bother shopping this brand but for day in and day out durability and design Makita is one of the best you'll ever find. I love my Makitas
I have used my drill and drill driver commercially and when I was down to one battery decided to keep them going. I needed the 4.0 to power a Makita impact wrench I just purchased. Makita genuine Batteries
The items were shipped in a bubble wrapping there is no OEM box but for the price !!! and they are Makita genuine batteries. They came with 1 bar power left and I had to charge them but when you have the Makita DC18RD charger there' s no down time it took about 43 mins to full charge. My only complaint is that Makita made those 4.0ah as big as the 6.0ah.

Makita 18v. Lithium 4 Ah
This is a great replacement for the 3 Ah Makita lithium battery. Has more power and last longer. The Makita batteries are far superior to the cheaper generic ones. Some will tell you it will not work in the older non star Makita tools, but they will. You just need to file/grind down a small lip on the left side of the track and it will slide in just fine. I have used the modified battery for hours with no issues. I think it is just a ploy by Makita to get you to up grade to the newer "star" tools.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The real deal, there is no substitute. My supply of Makita batteries is still working after 8 years and older. Hoping for even better runtime with these 4 amp hour ones.
