In this sequel to Apache Havoc: Enemy Engaged, you fly state of the art helicopters including the stealthy and devastating American RAH-66 Comanche and the Russian Ka-52 Hokum. Players who own both games can fly all four helicopters (including the American AH-64D Apache Longbow and Russian Mil-28N Havoc B from the previous title) and play missions from both games using the newer, improved game engine. More than 60 detailed aircraft and vehicles are featured. The 3D engine is geared towards low-level helicopter combat that supports hardware transform and lighting with day and night cycling and weather effects in resolutions up to 1600x1200. Enemy Engaged: RAH-66 Comanche Versus Ka-52 Hokum contains a comprehensive manual and strategy guide, demands realistic helicopter piloting techniques (at all skill level settings) and simulates realistic flight dynamics ranging from blade stall to vortex rings. Demo and free-flight modes are available for practice and offer a chance to become familiar with the game's dynamic battlefield system before heading off into one of three campaigns as a member of either the Red or Blue Forces. Multiplayer action is available for up to 16 players. Campaigns offer a variety of missions such as reconnaissance, combat air patrol or ground strike based on real-time battle progress rather than pre-defined scripted missions. You choose which missions will best further your cause and minimize losses. Victory conditions are based on controlling critical battlefield resources with no limit as to how many missions might be required. Some missions include intelligent wingmen to command and the option to call in air and artillery support. Each pilot's career combat statistics are tracked along with medals awarded and advancement in rank.
