My old Toshiba player was better.
I bought this BR player to replace my old Toshiba DVD player which had been excellent, I mainly used it to play motorsport videos converted to DivX and never had a problem with them but this new BR player either has a problem or just very poor DivX support as it will only play a few of my DivX videos and even if the videos are identical with the same resolution and framerate it refuses to play some of them and I am not about to re-encode 100's of videos to suit this player! I cannot really comment on any other aspects of the player as DivX support is my main concern and when that did not work correctly the player was returned to Argos, the return procedure was easy and I quickly got a refund. Why did my old Toshiba player (R.I.P.) perform better than a new player, so much for the latest tech being the best.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
