All things considered it's a great tripod! A lot of features, well design and user friendly. The only bad aspect are some knobs wich are really cheap plastic and I am afraid they are going to break if I lock it too hard, but if I don't lock it that hard the mount where the câmara stands kinda slides a little! It's good, but...
This is a good tripod, nice looking and a good height and weight. That's where it stops. While some of this camera is metal, the parts that count are plastic. The hand crank should have been metal as made from plastic it's going to break. This is good for light duty or semi-disposable work. Would not use it to leave my expensive camera on. Great tripod
This is a great cost effective tripod that works as intended. There are more expensive ones out there with a few extra features but if you just need it to be still and hold a camera why pay over $150 for something so simple? Good travel tripod
This is a good tripod for backpacking. It is made mostly out of plastic but fairly stable for the weight and price. It is not a workhorse tripod but light enough to drag around during hiking or other travels. If you need a professional tripod then this is not it. I was very impressed when it first arrived. For the price, I was expecting something fairly cheap. This tripod has great quality; from the material to all the adjustments knobs. Works for me
I got this to mount my light transit on for some surveying on my property. It is quite stable and just the right height when fully extended. I have not made the adapter plate yet, but I am sure it will be just fine, and at a fraction of the cost of one designed for that purpose. I am very pleased with the overall quality and ease of deployment. I will use it with my camera as well.
