Solidly built (11kg - I felt sorry for the delivery girl !). I ordered this printer after doing a lot of researching online. A lot of reviews say it is "built like a tank" - and it is! It is easy to set up - its mostly built up for you (minimum of assembly). I couldn't get it to level the baseplate with the paper very easily - but found it easier to setup using the auto level module. I was up and running in less than half an hour. I am very impressed with this printer so far - the quality of the prints is very good. I've printed about 15 things so far, and with the exception of 1 (probably my fault, as I am totally new to this), all have come out excellent. I have not attached the laser yet ( I'm having too much fun with the printer! ), but will get round to it soon. All the reviews say the laser is very easy to setup and use, and results are good. It can be a steep learning curve - I had to learn all about 3D printing, slicing, CAD etc, but I am enjoying it. If this printer keeps going like it has so far - I will be very happy. I got this for a great price (£161) from the Anycubic shop on Ebay - its advertised for up to £350+ in some places! I can recommend this printer.Read full review

The general construction is pretty robust, and as a result it's possible to get good print quality out of this machine. However, I had some pretty serious quality control issues with mine (internal power supply connections loose, failed hot end cooling fan) that made it useless out of the box, and certainly not the 5 minute assembly and setup that is advertised. I have read reports of others having the same issues. The design of the linear bearing for the Z axis (base) is also causing lots of people problems (look on Thingiverse or Youtube for i3 mega bed alignment) which affect print quality on some parts of the bed. Overall this has the potential to be a great printer, but only if you get one that's actually built right, or you are prepared to spend some time tweaking it.

Fantastic printer, not to mention that the seller was lightning fast to ship it. I am quite accustomed to CNC's but this was my first 3d printer ever. Read that one needs to spend some time to assemble, adjust and calibrate it. Well, its not true. Took me 30min flat to start printing with no issues. Maybe someone inexperienced in assembling stuff might take slightly longer but would still do a good job. The instructions are very clear and cover most things, including the printer slicer settings. The slicer setting are the most important to get right straight away to avoid frustration. I reccomend it to anyone starting in 3d printing. I'm loving it...

It's a self assembly kit, but easy to put together. I somehow managed to disconnect a wire during the assembly but it was obvious what happened and managed to fix it myself. I contacted the help desk and they were reassuring that in opening up the control box I had not invalidated the warranty. They responded very quickly. The printer needs to be very precisely levelled, but providing you follow the instructions it was easy, the first prints were fine. This is a product I would recommend for a beginner.
