The basswood body and the maple neck with laminated maple fingerboard is a combination of real genius. The guitar vibrates like a spruce top on a Martin guitar. The pickups are so hot as well. For those of you who don't use the whammy bar this is a perfect fit for a rock and roll or jazz guitar for that matter.

It won't make you play like Eddie, but it is a great playing guitar. Smooth and fast. The drop D feature is a unique addition and works flawlessly.

Fantastic guitar. I’ve owned a few Peavey Wolfgang guitars over the years and thoroughly enjoyed playing all of them. This one is no exception. I have the Wolfgang Spec. in Army Drab which looks great. Action can be adjusted incredibly low and fast if that’s your preference.

The Peavey EVH Wolfgang is a great guitar, especially for the Lower end priced EVH's on the market. I have both and this thing stays in tune, sound is good and plays like butter. Look on flame tops is awesome. Not a high end guitar but you can save $1000.00 and still have quality, looks and great sound. On stage who knows. Every rock guitar player needs one of these in his arsenal. You can get the EVH cases that come with the $2-3 grand price tag on the high end guitars at reasonable prices and top this baby off with all the looks you need.Protect it, it's still a great guitar and you wont go wrong. I am sure it will be a classic and collectable down the road if it isnt already.
well worth the money. i have 3 standards and 1 special. the standards neck feels better then the special. super fast neck and sound great too. can't beat em' for the cost. great guitar.
